I purchased this ebook many years ago on the charliefrancis.com website. I decided to give the Canadian Ascending Descending Program a test run before I have athletes try it out. I wanted to substitute heavy sled drags (or possibly prowler pushes) and med ball throws (or maybe even med ball throws with 10m acceleration)
So a Descending Lower day might look like this:
Med Ball throw
Medball throw + 10m accel
My subject is a female hurdler/sprinter type. On the off days we would be doing drills mostly 40m quick shuffles with 6 hurdles. I wanted to do full sprinting after 12 weeks of CAD.
