I am now on week 7 of the “best damn strength program” and loving it. Making some serious strength and mass gains. I have one question which may or may not be a stupid one!!
On my back squat max effort day I am now doing between 18-20 reps with the percentage weight given. All other max effort lifts are are around 5-6 reps and feeling great. I think this may be due to technique/confidence improvement while performing back squats.
Should I retest/adjust or should I just stick with this rep range. I feel that in the coming weeks these reps will increase to above the 20’s?
