2A Neurotype Peaking for Track and field

    Hello,

    I’m competitive athlete mostly in throwing (discus, shot put, javelin). Im strong 2A neurotype, everything get bored me after some period but Im able to follow some structure of year periodization.

    I’m close to start of strength period and Im kind of scared what weights over 90% of 1RM will do with my CNS and perfromance. I read somewhere that 2A can’t stay so long in the 90-100% of 1RM. What I know from past is very difficult to me  recover this period.

    I have plan to do 2 big lifts in one session 2times per week plus  lot of isometrics, eccentrics etc ( last time when i trained EQI eccentric-iso i totaly fucked my brain for another days by long push up holds)

    Any tips for timing etc?
